“You look hot tonight, but where’s the makeup?” A deep sultry voice purred in her ear.

“I’m am wearing makeup.” Judd gripped her hips tight and rocked her against him.

“And it’s sexy, but not as sexy as the white and black. You have no idea what that does to me. God, it just makes me want to…” He trailed off in a breathy voice as he thrust his hips, grinding himself into her backside, his growing excitement very obvious.

Darcy’s eyes widen in shock at his words and brazen actions. Didn’t he bring another girl to the party? Where was she? Mandy, seeing her step-sister’s distress, grabbed her by the hand.

“You don’t have a drink!” she yelled over the music. “Let’s get you something!”

Darcy nodded in agreement, letting herself be pulled from Judd’s grasp. The girls pushed their way through the crowd, heading towards the kitchen. Mandy dropped her hand as they went through the doorway. Trailing behind her, stumbling drunkenly in the heels she was unaccustomed to, Darcy’s foot struck something and she pitched forward. As she fell, she saw Rich standing directly in front of her holding a pie tin piled high with frothy white whipped cream. Darcy was helpless to stop herself from falling face first into the sugary concoction. She landed with a splat, cream flying in all directions.

Uproarious laughter grew around her as she struggled to get back to an upright position. Rich helped by shoving the pie tin further into her face, pushing her back. When she was standing, the tin slid off and landed with a crash on the floor. That brought a whole new round of laughter.

Darcy wiped the cream from her eyes and stuck her tongue out to clean around her mouth.

“Now you look like your old self,” Rich said with a smirk. Libby sidled up to him, pouting.

“Rich! You were supposed to wait for me! I missed it.” Anger was clearing Darcy’s tipsy head, but she still had her loose tongue.

“Yeah, I’ve heard you have issues with being premature, Dick.” His eyes narrowed dangerously.

“Don’t talk about what you don’t know, Freak,” he spat, giving her a shove. She landed against something solid, but didn’t bother to see what it was.

“Rumors run rampant asshole. Besides, how good can you really be if you have to force yourself on girls in stairwells?”

“Shut your mouth, you dumb whore. You know you would be begging me for it. I might even be willing to give it to you, if you put a bag over that clown face.”

“I wouldn’t touch you or your diseased shriveled Little Richard with a ten foot pole.” His face contorted with anger.

“Watch yourself Bozo or the joke will be on you. Why don’t you go back to the tiny car you crawled out of, bitch. No one wants you here. No one likes you. Hell, even your sister was in on the gag,” Rich said with a barking laugh.

Darcy looked at Mandy in surprise. Her step-sister turned red and refused to look up. Darcy stumbled back shaking her head, unable to believe that, after everything they’ve been through in the past couple of days, Mandy would stoop so low.

“Don’t listen to that prick, Darcy,” Judd said coming to stand at her side. “There are people who want you here.”

“And people who like you,” Chaz added coming from behind her to stand on the other side.

“Ha! You’re both full of shit,” Rich said. Judd looked over Darcy’s head at Chaz and raised an eyebrow. Chaz smirked in return and gave Judd a subtle nod.

Onlookers gasped as the boys did the unthinkable. Simultaneously they leaned down and languidly ran their tongues up either side of Darcy’s whip cream covered face.

Silence resounded in the kitchen. The saying about being able to hear a pin drop? That didn’t even come close to describing the lack of sound in the room. One could probably hear cells dividing, it was that quiet. Darcy’s jaw had dropped as the boys took part in their confectionary cleaning. Taking a step back, she looked at them head on.

Chaz’s tongue was poking out the side of his mouth, trying to capture an errant dollop of cream. Judd, who had white remnants on his nose, was grinning like a mad man. All that silence? It was quickly filled with the cracking of skin on skin as Darcy let her hand fly, smack the boys in succession. Two hands rose to touch their hot, red cheeks.

“How. Dare. You?!” Darcy’s chest heaved with barely restrained rage. Chaz looked appalled and embarrassed. Judd smirked, the fire back in his eyes as he winked at her. She was disgusted by them both.

“You can all go rot in hell.” She turned and blindly shoved her way through the crowd to escape out the front door.

The cool air was welcomed on her heated skin. As she hurried away, her ankle twisted sharply.

  “F’in shoes!”

Bending down, not caring if she flashed anyone who may have followed her out, she slipped the shoes off and carried them in one hand. The pavement was cold on her bare feet, but she didn’t care. Breaking into a light jog, she moved from the sidewalk to the lawns of the houses she passed as she made her way to the small park tucked away at the end of the road.

Mentally and physically exhausted, she dropped on to one of the empty swings, the tears coming freely. She sniffled loudly, sounding like a honking horn.

What was the matter with those boys? Did they think they’d be making things better, disrespecting her like that? Feverishly she scrubbed at her face trying to remove the remaining cream and the lingering sensation from their tongues traveling on her skin. After that display, everyone who had been there would be calling her trollop. A whore. A slut. A slore. She dropped her head into her hands and cried.

The tears flowed like Niagara, and she couldn’t remember the last time she had cried so hard. The sobbing and gasping, that was loud enough to wake the dead, eventually gave way to hiccups and a slow trickle of the salty substance. The jumping hiccups made her sound like a drunk, but the harrowing experience had sobered her up almost immediately.

A chill ran through her, raising goosebumps. She had forgotten how scantily dressed she was. Crossing her arms in front of her, she tried to rub some warmth back into herself. Good thing there was no one out there to see her as it was quite apparent through the thin shirts that she was feeling the cold.

Warmth suddenly enveloped her as a leather jacket was draped over her shaking shoulders. Darcy’s head snapped up, eyes wide with surprise. She hadn’t heard anyone approaching. A dark figure rounded the swing set and gracefully sat down next to her. Darcy rubbed her eyes, unable to believe what she saw.

“I don’t mean in intrude on your sob party over here, but it’s not really safe for us chicks to be out here alone in the middle of the night.” The raven haired beauty that had come to the party with Judd stretched out her legs and started to swing.

“Swinging is so liberating, don’t you think?” the girl asked Darcy with a grin. Darcy didn’t know what to say, so she continued to stare dumbly. Without warning, the girl leapt from the swing, landing several feet away. “That was always my favorite part!” She took a step towards Darcy and stumbled slightly. “Probably not the best thing to do in heels though…” Limping slightly, she came back and grabbed the still moving swing to sit down.

“Oh yeah, I’m Jazz,” she said holding out a tiny hand. Darcy took it and gave it a halfhearted shake.

  “Darcy.”

“Oh I know all about you. Judd talks about you. A lot.” Darcy was taken aback. She wondered who talked to their girlfriend about other girls they hooked up with. Maybe they had an open relationship?

  “What…What does he say?”

“He thinks you’re cool…and brave. Not many people would dare to come to school looking like an escapee from Barnum and Bailey’s.”

Darcy felt her anger rising again. Was the makeup all everyone ever saw? She understood it made her stand out, but she was more than some black and white painting, hell she didn’t even know how to juggle!

“Judd has a special…affection for clowns,” Jazz admitted, swinging idly, dragging her heels in the soft playgroun
d sand.

  “What do you mean?”

The other girl was silent for a few moments and then heaved a big sigh.

“He would kill me for telling you this, but after the shit he pulled on you tonight, I think you deserve to have some blackmail material on him.” Darcy was so confused. She wished the chick would just get to the point. Lucky for her, Jazz kept on talking.

“When we were kids, our folks took us to the circus that had come into town. I remember being so excited to see the animals and the acts. Judd, on the other hand, was petrified. He had seen that Poltergeist movie where the kid’s clown doll came to life and tried to kill him. It gave him nightmares for weeks. He had begged our parents not to go, saying he’d give up desserts for a month.” Jazz looked at Darcy, a super serious expression on her face. “Understand that dessert is Judd’s favorite thing in the world. Well…now it’s probably sex, but if he could combine the two I’m sure it would be mind blowing for him. Come to think of it, he probably had to go uhhh calm himself after that incident in the kitchen with you and the whip cream.” Darcy sat back, horrified. “Anyway, I’m getting off topic. Where was I? Oooh, right, trip to the circus. The folks told him he’d be fine and took us despite his protests. He whined and whimpered the whole time. As we left the big top show, he got separated from us. The folks were frantic to find him. It took about an hour, but once we tracked him down, he was sitting in the lap of some big breasted clown lady looking as happy as a pig in shit. Ever since then he’s had this weird kind of kink for clowns. He’d never admit it though. I think that would ruin his bad boy rep, ya know?”

Darcy couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Judd got turned on by clowns?! That explained his actions earlier while they were dancing. Thinking back she realized that during their hot and steamy episode in the Kitchen of Action, he mentioned something about the makeup too.

She swung gently, trying to take it all in. A light bulb flashed on in her head. She turned to the other girl.

“You said ‘your folks’ took you both to the circus. Does that mean?…Are you?”

Jazz threw back her head and laughed.

“I was wondering when you’d get to that. Yes, Judd is my brother. My twin brother, actually. Judd and Jasmine. Two peas in a pod our folks used to call us. Don’t we look alike?”

Darcy leaned forward to get a better look at the punk-ish girl. Jazz did share the same smoldering hazel eyes and Roman-esque nose as her brother. Their hair was the same dark black color as well. When Darcy looked closely, it wasn’t hard at all to see the similarities.

“How come I’ve never seen you around school?” Jazz leaned back and started twisting in her swing, making it turn in a semi-circle.

“My folks sent me away for a little while. I just got back.” Darcy frowned. She knew she probably shouldn’t pry, but curiosity got the better of her.

“Sent you away? How come?” Jazz quit twirling and turned, grabbing the chains of Darcy’s swing to pull herself closer.

“They sent me to some silly Bible thumping institute where they tried to electrocute the gay out of me.” Darcy gasped.

“How could anyone think that would work?” Jazz raised a perfectly arched eyebrow.

“Obviously my folks thought it would and they think it worked like a charm.”

“Oh my God. So you’re straight now?!” Jazz grinned at Darcy. It was the same predatory grin her brother had when he was going in for the kill.

“You tell me,” Jazz said as she closed the gap between them and kissed Darcy full on the lips.

When Jazz finally broke away, Darcy was left gasping for air. She pushed back with her heels to put space between them. Jazz watched her and erupted into giggles.

“You should see yourself! Too funny!” Darcy was confused. How many people had to force themselves on her in a day?

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry,” Jazz said sliding off the swing to crouch in front of Darcy. “I know I shouldn’t have done it, but you set me up so perfectly. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. Not to mention, my brother has good taste. You’re cute and we like to share on occasion.” She winked at Darcy.

“You guys?...You.. have threesomes?!” Darcy whispered the last word, unable to wrap her brain around such a thing. Jazz laughed again.

“Oh, God no! We have traded off on occasion, but it’s never a ‘let’s do this at the same time’ kind of thing. You think I want to see my brother naked? Nooooo thank you. I get he’s a good looking guy, but 1) he’s my brother, 2) he’s got boy junk. Ew. I don’t like all that hanging stuff. Girls keep things nice and neat inside. Boys let it all hang out, sloppy and messy like. Bleck.”

Darcy couldn’t help but laugh at Jazz’s reaction and description. She ended up touching her lips. They were still warm. Jazz’s lips had been soft, but the kiss definitely hadn’t brought upon any of the feelings Darcy got when she kissed Judd or Chaz.

“You’re not too upset, are you? I wasn’t thinking. I had forgotten what you went through tonight,” Jazz said looking truly concerned. Darcy shook her head.

“No. I’m not upset. I was just…surprised. I guess I’ve always been a little curious,” she admitted.

“Yeah? Did you like it?” Jazz asked with a familiar leer.

“It was nice. Soft…but I can’t say it did anything for me.” Jazz leaned back on her heels and sighed.

“Ahh well. Judd probably would have been pissed if I tried to steal his girl anyhow.”

“I’m not exactly his girl, you know,” Darcy said, indignant. Jazz chuckled.

“Maybe not yet, but my brother is known for getting what he wants.” She stood and stretched her arms over her head revealing a taunt strip of pale stomach. “Come on. Let’s get you back home before you turn into a clown-cicle.”

They took their time walking back. Darcy was not looking forward to returning to a house full of people. When they got to her driveway, she was surprised to realize she heard no music and there were no cars parked out front that didn’t belong to her family. Jazz noticed her confusion.

“After you stormed out, Mandy told everyone to leave. Judd and Chaz were helping her clean up when I came out to find you.”

“Oh…” Darcy said. “Did uhh.. Dic- I mean Rich, did Rich leave?”

“Oh yes. He left with a bloody nose and a black eye I think. Your white knights were not happy with what he did and the comments he made after you left.”

“Are they all right? Chaz and Judd, I mean.” Darcy was concerned.

“They have been beating each other up since they were in diapers together. They’re quite capable of taking care of themselves. No worries.” Darcy let out a sigh of relief.

“Hmm. You asked about Chaz first…Is that because you care more? Or because you think he didn’t know how to fight?” Darcy turned a bright red and started to stammer. Jazz laid a hand on her arm.

“Sorry. That’s none of my business, I suppose. For what it’s worth, Chaz is a good guy. Like another brother to me. It hurts to see that he and Judd don’t get along anymore. They used to be inseparable.”

Darcy, not ready yet to go inside, hauled herself up onto the hood of Mandy’s car.

“How come they stopped being friends?”

“Not really my story to tell, but it had to do with a girl. Typical guys, letting themselves be led around by their junk.” Jazz rolled her eyes.

Darcy wondered if that picture she found in Mandy’s room had anything to do with it. She was about to ask Jazz if she knew about Chaz and Mandy when she heard the front door open. Her head turned and she saw Judd’s tall dark frame walking out the door, helmet under his arm. Chaz was right on his heels, head down. She started to slide down the hood, to escape, but Jazz put her hands on Darcy’s knees, to keep her in place.

“Chill,” Jazz said quietly as the boys approached. Judd nodded a greeting to his sister and tossed the helmet to her. She caught it with ease.

“Good to go?” he asked her.

  “Sure. Righ
t after your apology,” his sister said, echoing his earlier stance with the helmet under an arm. He raised his eyebrows at her.

  “For?”

“Oh don’t be an asshole, Judd. You know what for.” Judd turned to Chaz.

“She’s been gone for six weeks and this is the kind of sisterly affection I get when she comes back. Remember when you wanted a sister? She’s all yours.” Chaz glared at Judd but said nothing. The dark haired boy shrugged his shoulders and started to walk off. Jazz grabbed his arm before he could get too far.

“Judd,” she warned, digging her long red nails into his arm. His brow creased.

“Ow, Jazz. No need to impale me with your talons. I’m not into those S&M kinks like you.” Jazz stared down her brother.

“Oh sure. No odd kinks for you, right? It’s okay then to tell you that the circus is coming to tow-” He slapped a hand over his sister’s mouth and gave her a withering look. When he removed his hand, she gave him a triumphant smile.

He tossed his head, flicking dark hair out of his eyes. Glancing over his sister’s shoulder, he looked at Darcy for the first time since he’d come outside.

“What’s the matter Sassy Clown, didn’t you like what I can do with my tongue?” He waggled his eyebrows at her. Darcy had a moment of irrational anger where she wished she could shave those damn eyebrows off. Or better yet, just one of them. Then he could be the freak.
